Alumna and history of Chogoria Girls
Chogoria Girls High School located in Tharaka Nithi County, Kenya, was founded in 1922 by Dr. Clive Irvine, a missionary from the Presbyterian Church of Scotland.
It is nestled on the eastern slopes of Mount Kenya, about 200 kilometers north of Nairobi City and 40 kilometers south of Meru Town.
Initially a preparatory mixed-grade school, the school achieved the status of a Primary and Junior School in 1952.
