Alumna and history of Alliance Girls

Alliance Girls on a 71 acres of land in Kiambu County was founded in 1948 by the Alliance of Protestant Missions in Kenya.

The Presbyterian Church of East Africa which donated the land has since remained the sponsor to date.

A string of successful alumnae include novelist Margret Ogola and Former Kitui governor Charity Ngilu.

Another renowned ex-student is the third First Lady of Kenya, Mrs Lucy Kibaki.
